J. Bradly Garvin, D.V.M.
Dr. Brad has been with Riverview Animal hospital since graduation from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. He also practices at New Castle Animal Hospital one day a week.
Dr. Brad is a member of the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Brad is married to Lisa and they have 3 children: Joe, Lily, and Ella. They share their home with Andi, a rescued Labrador Retriever.
Roy J. Garvin, D.V.M.
Dr. Garvin has been with Riverview Animal Hospital since buying the practice from Dr. Charles Anderson in 1995. He graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1967. After graduation he practiced at Mingle Veterinary Hospital in Pendleton, Indiana until 1969. In 1969 he purchased New Castle Animal Hospital. Dr Garvin purchased Riverview Animal Hospital in 1995.
Dr. Garvin is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, lifetime member of the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA.) He is past president of the 10th District IVMA and past Chairman of the Board of the IVMA.
Dr. Garvin is married to Peggy and they have 3 adult children: Allan, Brad (Dr. Brad,) and Jamie (Dr. Boe.) Dr. Garvin and Peggy share there home with Ted, a brown Standard Poodle.
Jamie A. Boe, D.V.M.
Dr. Boe joined Riverview Animal Hospital in 2004. She graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. After graduation she practiced at Green Bay Animal Hospital in Wilmette, Illinois.
Dr. Boe is a member of the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Boe is married to John and they have 2 children: Olivia and Charlie. They share their home with Bibble, a French Bulldog and Lenny the cat.
Lori Burton
Lori has been with Riverview since 2003. Lori helps in all aspect of your animals care. She is a receptionist, veterinary assistant, and kennel attendant. Lori is married to Danny and has 2 children: Anna and Troy. Lori and her family share there home with their Boxers: Shasta, Scooby and Hunter. They have 2 Bengal cats: Fiona and Java. Lori also has a Blue Front Amazon named Henry.
Starla Hibbard
Starla has been our groomer at Riverview since 2004. Starla bathes and grooms all breeds of dogs and cats. . She has over 15 years experience grooming cats and dogs. When not pampering pets at Riverview, Starla stays busy with her fiancé Phil McKinley and their 2 children: Caleb and Lilly.
Debbie Gauthier
Debbie is our office manager and has been with Riverview since 1997. Debbie is involved with reception duties as well as her management duties. Debbie is married to Dennis. She has 3 adult children: Kim, Justin, and Beth. They share their home with Lucky – a 12 year old Lab Mix, and Joslyn – a 5 year old cat.
Kayla Gregory
Kayla has been with Riverview since 2001. Kayla is involved in many aspects of the care of your pets. She has cleaning, reception and animal care duties. Kayla started as a full time groomer and now works part time in all aspects of the hospital. Kayla is married to Alvin. She has 2 adult children: Joshua and Shannon and 3 grandsons to keep her entertained and busy. Kayla has Roscoe - a 14 year old Australian Shepherd Mix, Keyla – a 9 year old Great Dane Mix, Barkley – a 3 year old Staffordshire Terrier, and Tucker – a 3 year old Pomeranian mix.
Venus Guerra
Venus joined Riverview in 2004 after Dr. Gail Mendenhall closed her office. Venus is our veterinary assistant. She assists the doctor in all aspects of animal care from blood draws and medicating to anesthesia assistance and surgical assistance. Venus is married to Eddie. She has 3 children: Aaron, Ashley, and Brooke. Venus has 2 dogs: T.J. – a 12 year old Miniature Pinscher and Dupont – a 12 year old Dachshund/Schnauzer Mix.
Michelle Jackson
Michelle has been with Riverview since 2001. Michelle is involved in many aspects of animal care. Michelle is one of our main kennel attendants who pampers the boarding dogs and cats. Michelle is also one of our receptionists. She is married to Eric. They share their home with: Gus a 3 year old Boston Terrier, Betty Boop a 5 year old ferret, Belle a 1 year old cat, Nora Jane a 9 month old cat, and Valentino a 10 year old cat.
